Each generation of witches, there is one chosen one to have The Power to take down the vampire race. Avah is the chosen one of her generation. However, the night of her birth rite, a group of rogue vampires attack her coven and she is set to die. But these other vampires that she and her cousins had met previously, they have some sort of powers themselves help her coven fight these rogues. Avah still can't understand what is different with these vampires. As she's dying, she begs the leader of this group of four to turn her, knowing fully that it's going against her coven. Once turned she is shunned from the only life she ever knew. As she learns to accept her new self as a vampire, she learns more secrets her witch elders kept from her. Will she be able to fight to stay alive with The Power and her new vampire powers to not only save her old coven, but her new coven as well?
