House On The Hill

This book has one main story and three short stories. The first story House On The Hill was a story about Madison dealing with the loss of her boss who she looked to as a father. When he gave her his old house, weird stuff start to happen. Will Madison be able to uncover what is going on? I loved getting to know Madison and seeing her friendship with Jeremy grow into more as he helped her with the mystery of this house. The other three amazing stories in this book are short but great! They include: The Ghostly Tale of Anna The Escort; The Medium, The Ghost and The Shaman; Tea Leaves On The Wind. JoLynne Valerie is a wonderful author and this book was just another great book she wrote.

Synopsis:
Madison has been on a roll, lately. She was just named top attorney at her firm; things never looked better for her career. Best yet, Madison rarely thinks about her rocky past anymore. Life is good.

Fueled Desire ~ Book 3 of the Southern Roots Series

For those that read the first book from the Southern Roots Series where you first met Abby, well this book is where you learn more about her back story and you actually really feel for her.  Abby decides to go to Scotland, India and then Australia to find herself as a person and to see what she really wants out of life.  On her way to Scotland, she meets Clive who has the seat next to her in first class.  Clive is a funny yet dirty mind kind of guy that makes Abby really laugh for the first time I think.  During her time in Scotland they get to know each other and develop feelings.  She then leaves to go to India where she discovers some terrible news and has to immediately go back to Texas.  Will Abby and Clive last or was it just a fling during her time there?  Can Abby deal with what happened in Texas or will it cause her to go back to her old ways so she doesn't have to deal with feelings?  Find out in this third story, Fueled Desire, now!  After reading this, Abby has become one of my favorites. 

Synopsis:
A chance encounter around the world led her to him…  Abby Masters knew it was time to move on and start her life on her own. No one was in her way, no one could stop her. Leaving her past behind was the best way to move forward.  Deciding to travel around the world, the intent was to clear her mind, to find herself and to start over. Culmination ~ Book 4 in Chronicles of the Fallen

The fourth and final book of Chronicles of the Fallen and WOW, just WOW.  This story has the ultimate battle, who will win and who will lose, who will live and who will die?  Enemies fight together and friends betray those they were supposed to be loyal to, this war has to take place because Jonathan was born.  This story has love, betrayal, shock and sacrifice.  Will Jonathan find himself and come into his true powers or will he succumb to the evil that's brewing inside him.  I have to say Jonathan is definitely my favorite character from this series.  Julie is an amazing author and this is truly an amazing series.

City Lights ~ Book 2 of the Southern Roots Series

WOW!!! So many of you like myself probably hated Blaine while reading the first book in this series, Southern Roots.  Well City Lights is Blaine's story, he's clean, in love and well let's just say this is about his redemption for what he did in the past.  Blain is about two years sober when he meets Penelope Shade, or as her stage name, Penny Wise, for the band Mongrels of Soul.  Blaine is immediately taken by her but the catch is, she has a boyfriend back home.  After Mongrels perform that first night Blaine meets them, he knows he want's to produce them.  Being that they aren't from Colorado, Blaine offers up his home for the band to stay in while getting their first album recorded.  Blaine still in his own band, Deep Ember, and still struggles with being around sex, drugs and alcohol.  He is an addict so it can be hard for him if it's all in front of him for the taking.  This story takes you on Blaine's journey and how he sees things so much clearer now that he is clean and sober.  After you read this, you will not only feel for Blaine but also come to enjoy him as a person as well.  He has been through so much.

Southern Roots ~ Book 1 of the Southern Roots Series

Loved this book!  This is a new genre for me but since I love this authors other books I gave this a try and can I just say WOW!!!  This story focuses on a building romance between Bobby Ray and Lexi.  They are an adorable, sweet and well perfect couple.  Both have some trust issues when it comes to relationships so will they be able to overcome that and let each other in?  This is a definite must read and I can't wait to hear more about Blaine in the second book and Abby in the third. 



Synopsis:
